Updates!

Hi friends......we are happy to inform you that we now have 2 people under training to assist us in all areas of church. They are Andrew and Yen Nee. If we are away for ministry outside of Penang or on holidays, they will be looking after the church. Yen Nee's role is to also to be able to go with Karen when there is an opportunity to go outstation or overseas for ministry. So CHURCH, all we can say is, God is doing something and He's putting leaders in position.

On the other hand, Daniel Goh has been actively involved in co-ordinating our band and conducting worship practises. When the time is right, he will then take on the role of worship pastor of The Realm Church.

We're back!

HI friends....first of all I would like to apologise for not updating this blog. Soon I'll have to find someone to update this for me. I have a lot on my plate haha. We as a church had an awesome Christmas, one that we will never forget. How was yours? We celebrated Christmas eve at Autocity this year. It was an amazing experience for us all. With a crowd of 10000 people, it was indeed an exciting night of bringing the message of HOPE and JESUS to our community. It was a 'wow' experience and many more to come. On top of that we also had an amazing Christmas night service.  The photos will speak for themselves...hope you can join us in our next event...more photos to come...stay tuned....

Good Friday

Today is Good Friday. This is the day where we are brought to remembrance what Christ did on the cross for us to take away all our SINS. We should not only think of Christ today but we need to constantly be in a relationship with Him regardless of what is happening in our lives.John 3:16 clearly tells me that it was because of His great LOVE for you and I that He sent His only begotten Son to lay down His LIFE for us. Just the thought of this drives me WILD! Isn't it awesome!

A leap of faith

Dear friends,

2009 has been a year of stretching and growing for our church...we have doubled in our regulars from 2008 and have seen how God has just poured out onto His people who have been faithfully serving Him...many who got retrenched or lost their jobs in 2009 have miraculously got new jobs before the end of the year!

Since we are growing in numbers, we currently need to change the stage around to accomodate more people in the hall, put curtains on the windows to have new offices and kids room that we were not able to put 2 years back, buy new air conds for offices and hall as the old ones are not cold enough for our regular crowd...many things are happening and it is very exciting as God is enlarging our territory and strenghtening our cords.

The Lord spoke to us in July that 2010 will be a year of possibilities and we BELIEVE. Financially we do not have enough money to renovate our church as our church are full of young working adults and some college kids. We need about RM10000-RM12000 (AUD 3500-AUD 4000) to renovate as we have just recently extended our 2 year contract and have plans to stay long term with multiple services once this one is full.

We pray that you stand with us in faith. God has provided for us in many miraculous ways since 2005 and we know that this will be one of the many miracles for 2010.
